    • the D is ok. just ok...and that's good enough. they nearly got us 21 points today. they get pressure but not a lot of sacks. they usually have a better second half in games after the adjustments made. today would have been a two td win or more but a couple of bad calls (both on third down i believe) and jordy not catching that os kick, put extra pressure on the d. also...we should never run on third and short. lol

edit...they gotta fix that communication issue.

      • It's been said before, but I'll say it again. Our D is hurting this year because we have not been able to replace Jenkins. It now is pretty clear that letting Jenkins go was a mistake. I don't blame TT, it was a tough call, and lord knows Cullen's injury history was likely a factor.

But in the end, it was a mistake. We're seeing the consequence of his absence in our inability to get to the QB.

maybe neal will be ready by playoff time (and no one else hurt in the meantime).

You're right but it seems worse than missing Jenkins. Lots of bad ankles and a gambling secondary; it's like watching Brett Favre play quaterback. Cardiac crazy football!

Compound that with Neal not being on the field. Even if Neal is 1/2 the player of Jenkins, they could use that 1/2 right now (without blitzing).

Possibly, whether it's Jenkins or whoever, the pass rush is definitely not the same. Kicker to all this, seems Jenkins is doing very good for the Eagles. Not that I wish him ill will, but it's one of those things, why couldn't he stay healthy for us. I didn't think he's make it out of Eagles training camp.

Your post has got merit; especially about 3rd and short! But you're too kind to the D.

you know the basic request to spy on your neighbours and report what you don't like. You know, the program East Germany used to great effect. And as far as I can tell from Homeland Security's interested in streaming TV programs, so I guess they want people to let them know if you're aware of anyone doing that.
Never saw that ad. And the interest in streamed games has less to do with overreaching security apparatus in response to 9/11 than it does to reorganizing departments after Homeland Security became its own dept.

Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

                              • I think we miss Collins back there a lot. At least half those touchdowns were b/c of bad communication b/w the corners and safeties.
