Today was their good day. AR was off form, our WR's and TE's outside of Nelson couldn't catch a cold, Eli made some amazing throws, they could run on us at will, Mase missed a chip shot FG, Starks and Woodson were both knocked out of the game... Days don't get much better than that for teams standing on the opposite sideline. The fact that the Giants still came up short even considering all of that means they clearly are still a few steps behind. They don't worry me.

They could just as easily get 3 wins out of that lot. Minn is crap. Oakland got lambasted by Miami, and they're still good enough to beat either Gb or SD with a decent effort.

Hiney is far worse than McNabb.

What we need for humiliation are more passes targeted at Roy Williams.

I completely agree with Skin. They get Minnesota and San Diego at Detroit and I think they'd be a solid favorite over either. The wheels are coming off for the Chargers and they don't play well on the road. Never know what to expect from the Raiders this season, either. I say the Lions get one of the NFC wild card spots.
Teamwork is what the Green Bay Packers were all about. They didn't do it for individual glory. They did it because they loved one another.

The only one that concerns me is the Lions. They have the talent to put together an unbelievable game, if they get their collective heads out of Suh's you-know-what.
No longer the member of any fan clubs. I'm tired of jinxing players out of the league and into obscurity.

Especially if Atlanta games keep playing out like a McGruber skit.

PFT has sources close to Brett Favre saying he would take the Bears call if they dialed him up.

The quarterback situation in Chicago is dire enough that there's actually talk about what once would have been unthinkable: Brett Favre in a Bears uniform.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

So they have their choice of the last two Viking geriatric flame-outs? How appealing.

Bears would probably be better off dragging Warner or Marc Bulger out of retirement. Bulger was still working out in August, so he may actually be in reasonable shape. Warner looked fat in an NFLN commercial.
