Very nice. I had heard it before, so chalk up another discovery to radio. Odd too, because I seem to spend all my drive on scan, looking for something that isn't terrible.

I was in the same boat... heard a lot of their songs but had no idea who they were or even that the songs were all from that one band. Last year my wife wanted "MUSE" tickets for her birthday so we went and I had a blast. Now they're on my radar.

i stopped watching any kind of halftime show years ago. i don't watch pregame shows anymore either.

Halftime is approx 25 minutes long now. At some point, willing or not, you are going to catch the halftime act.

Pregame though? I am with gary. Avoid like plague.

Unfamiliar, except that I have possibly heard them on the radio and then only will find out who they were much, much later. Has happened with Katy Perry, Ke$ha, Mumford and Sons, Coldplay, Blind Melon and The Presidents of the United States of America. Some of these revelations were more welcome than others.

And actually every country artist I know was discovered by me after the fact.

Other times, I catch a trifecta of Iron Maiden, AC/DC and Ozzy Osbourne as I reach the homestead. Then the next morning, after I start my car, I realize I had the RADIO ON ELEVEN. VERY LOUD!!

But no, Coldplay wasn't a suggestion for the Supe Bowl halftime show, though if they brought Gweneth Paltrow out with them ...
