  • Need Input From Fellow Wisconsin Pack Fans

So I finally got off of school and will have enough money to attend the Packers NFC Divisional Playoff game on the 14th. I will be arriving on the morning of the 13th so I have a whole day to explore Green Bay.

I know I want to go to the Packers Hall of Fame, but I was hoping I can get input from some fellow Pack fans who either live in Wisconsin or have been to Lambeau recently. Are there any places that I should definitely go to besides the Pack Hall of Fame? Bars? Any input appreciated !

Too bad GBMichelle has moved. She took ziggy and me to a fish restaurant somewhere in the sticks that was off the planet good. PM her, maybe she can give you some insights. She's top notch and I am sure, she's a willing consultant.

She goes by GBRulz now on here I think

don't live there but have been to Green Bay/Lambeau many times...other than the stadium/hall of fame/pro shop experience there really isn't anything else Packers to see. the casino is fun is you like that. applebees. shopping for Packers stuff.

Go to Fuzzy's place. Not sure where it is, though. Fuzzy comes in and holds court in the back and you can get pictures with him. (I even got a kiss)

Not sure how you are getting there but driving from chicago to GB with Retailguy he stopped at this place called Mars Cheese Castle and I had curds for the first time. Also had a Butterburger at some place. Not sure how old you are but there is a shitload of bars around the stadium and someplace downtown that GBRulz took us. Got introduced to a drink(s) called a gimlet that had me swerved. I would also say go to the Pro Shop the day before if you can cuz it is a bitch to be carrying all that shit around. Shit I guess there aint alot to do but it is still cool!

Butterburgers were at Culvers. Yes, Steve, you must have custard. Even if it's the dead of winter. If you go through Milwaukee, look up Kopps.

i also had the best pizza i ever ate at a family owned place, on the edge of milwaukee, on the highway leading north to Green Bay. forgot the name though.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I will try to google and check some of these places out. Normally I don't like planning ,but Green Bay will be the one exception for sure!

the cheese castle is south of Milwaukee off of 94. Racine/Kenosha area. FYI madtown they've upgraded it actually looks like a castle now!

I would recomend you just planing on walking around on game day. I like to hit up a few of the bars then tailgate hop. meet new people that way!

Yeah I googled it right now and the picture is not what I remembered. This was in 2008 BTW. I wonder if I order online if they will still be as good by the time they get to CA. I have since tried two different places like the Castle over here but not even close.

Yeah walking around on game day was cool.

Superfan and I were at Fuzzy's with GBM.

The brat stands at bar closing time downtown are amazing. Throw some jalapenos on there. Superfan and I went to a Bloody Mary bar that was probably the best I've been to.

the reason that they taste so good is because they are fresh. the reason the ones you got in Cali suck is because the cheese is made from GAY (I mean Happy) cows!
