If you're of college age and looking for some nightlife on a Saturday, as you can guess from the comments, GB ain't the place to be. I'd suggest road-tripping to Appleton and hanging out on College Ave.

What happened to Oshkosh? My brother partied his way right out of that school.Originally posted by Iron Mike View PostIf you're of college age and looking for some nightlife on a Saturday, as you can guess from the comments, GB ain't the place to be. Longer drive from Green Bay and more of a chance to get pulled over. Sort of a Partying Darwinism at work.Originally posted by MJZiggy View PostWhat happened to Oshkosh? This place did me in. I lived 1/2 block down the street and could not avoid the $.35 shots of blackberry brandy and the $.88 Bloody Marys from 8:00-11:00.

They sell 12 year old cheddar there maybe the best cheese I ever had.

You lived 1/2 block from the Mag?Originally posted by Iron Mike View PostThis place did me in. I lived 1/2 block down the street and could not avoid the $.35 shots of blackberry brandy and the $.88 Bloody Marys from 8:00-11:00.
You really were a deviate!
I tended bar at the B&B for a few years, during grand 'ol college days.
Is the Mag still alive?
JDrats is kinda right. The Cheese Castle is a tourist joint. A good tourist joint, but a little high on the old prices. That's where Bear fans buy their stuff
Hit Rogge's in Oshkosh. Has the same selection and more wallet friendly prices. It's right off 41.
Those small town butcher shops and cheese joints are the best places to get curds, sharp cheddar and exotic brats that a 10 times better than Johnsonville's. Ask some locals. Tell em you want brats and cheese, den der hey.

I'm a fan of the Stadium View as a bar to check out; great memorabillia
Late Night...gotta hit the oval office. You can often find Packers there on Sunday eve's as well.
Just don't let da rats drag you into that other bar nearby.....I had no idea what it was until Mad told me....then went back in for a couple minutes to find somebody....and he was right.
Bouncer used some fancy name...........like an acceptance....bar or something. Rats, WTF did he call that ?
Anyways, I am never going there again. Stay at the Oval where they have the best Caramel !!!TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

I've driven past the Castle just never took note of its name as I've had no interest. Get most of our cheese at the Rudolph cheese factory and always crack open a bag of warm curds (squeaking like crazy!) on the drive home.
If you're driving past Racine and want some Wisconsin goodness, swing into town to OH Bakery and pick up a Kringle or two. Pecan is by far my favorite, but they are all great and put the ones I can find up here in central WI to shame!
