For the record, I don't see Trent Richardson making it this far...especially since Jeff Fischer has publically said they love Justin Blackmon and Trent Richardson. I get the posturing for the draft, but the Rams need some offense even with Steven Jackson, who is now old. Just IMO.

Agreed - he seems to be slipping here, for no good reason. See my post above, I bet the Bills would grab him, it's about time they draft Spiller's replacement, isn't it? lol
This is the team that drafted Spiller 3 years after taking Lynch, who was taken 4 years after McGahee!

On another note, good call on Tannehill. You drafted for the 'hawks last time, and didn't grab him, I don't think there's much of a chance he gets by Miami, forget Seattle.

While there is minimum demand for high end running backs these days, I can see it getting better with the new contracts for rookies.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Yes withy the reports that miami may be slipping in the Peyton Manning signing and others that Bill Philbin is sour on Matt Flynn as a starter (rumour only to me) of all people then Philbin has a relationship with Matt Flynn and certainly has assessed his capabilities as a franchise QB.

It seems obvious to me that if that all holds up (no Peyton Manning or Matt Flynn to the Dolphins) the Dolphins would be unwise not to select at QB and Tannehill.

Woody, Philbin doesn't want to start a bidding war for Matt Flynn, why would he tell anyone if he's interested in him or not?
                Thanks Ted!

Bills still have Fred Jackson who was putting up pro bowl numbers before a injury ended his season. Also Spiller actually played pretty well last season, had him on my fantasy squad.

Actually I think he'll be drafted by the Chiefs in real life. Steven Jackson might be getting older but he still put up big numbers last season behind no passing game whatsoever. The Rams have a lot of others they need to address before RB.

My take on it is that if you were Bill Philbin? Would you salivate more over Peyton Manning or Matt Flynn? Miami has to be sharp on this Peyton Manning quest or have the inside track on him right now. Early today it looked to me like Peyton Manning more likely would end up in Denver because that organization is rich in CAP money while Arizona presented him with 'a Rich Man - Poor man' scenario.

Then with the sudden news that the Dolphins had traded Brandon Marshall to the Chicago Bears it got tossed in the air again.

Peyton Manning is looking at all the hands as their dealt. Doing so very cautiously. He travels to Tennessee today for chicken and ribs. Yesterday it was lobster with Miami in Indy. The days before it was real good steak and more steak in Arizona and Denver. He's going to fatten up as he heals.

Miami has a plan obviously in place and it appears to me that plan is Peyton Manning. If he goes elsewhere, then it might be Matt Flynn. Were certainly not going to sit at our PC's and TV sets and wonder what Bill Philbins opinion is on Matt Flynn's merits as his franchise QB.

Peyton Manning makes that question. MOOT. There would only be a bidding war for Matt Flynn involving Miami if Peyton Manning signs with some organization other than Miami.

Agreed. We both know Richardson will be gone early, or at least should. Wouldn't be shocked is Cleveland took him at 4.

                                I can't run no more
                                With that lawless crowd
While the killers in high places
                                Say their prayers out loud
But they've summoned, they've summoned up
                                A thundercloud
They're going to hear from me - Leonard Cohen
