There's literally no reason to cut Sherrod, at all. He's cheap to keep due to the rookie wage scale (and #32 picks don't get paid that much anyway), if he's injured he starts the season on PUP, if he retires he goes on Reserved/Retired, if he gets in trouble for killing six hookers then he goes on Reserved/Suspended.
There's no situation in which it makes sense for the Packers to cut Sherrod.
