Things are changing rapidly on BIG Boards of late but to me it's a 'so what' !

There's enough information now available that 'a fella' who's really interested can assess what Ted Thompson might do in this draft and the key to that is what he'll do in Rounds 1-3.

I looked at this yesterday arond my interest in 'THE MASTERS' GO ! Phil Mickelson !!... and this morning (Easter Sundasy).

The Patriots do what the patriots do best. Find incredible value for a draft pick and maximize it. New England traded the 28th overall pick in the first round tot he New Orleans Saints for a 2012 first round draft pick and a 2011 2nd round pick. Here is how the trade worked out:

Saints get –

2011 28th overall pick (Mark Ingram, RB, Alabama)

Patriots get –

2012 1st round draft pick

2011 2nd round pick (56 overall)

OLB Courtenay Upshaw isn't too shabby to us at #28. At #28 he's IMO a real bonus.

I'm surprized to see Michael Brockers going to Denver at#25 given that he's by some 'EXPERTS' NOT considered NFL ready.

patsfans.com ... Derek Havens MOCK ... has 'six OLman' being picked before our choice at #28. This surprizes me.

So ... It's my opinion we will NOT have a shot at OLB Courtney Upshaw unless TT trades up in Rd. 1.

REVISION: woodbuck27: ** Shea McClellin OLB/DE. Today Mon. April 9, 2012.... I would remove this prospect from the group below. A group that I saw as possibly available for our SECOND ROUND pick at #59.

By the reports I'm gleening OLB Shea McClellin is rocketing up MOCK Draft boards.

Today Shea McClellin is being considered as high as a late Round ONE pick and some experts are saying he's an ideal fit for the New England Patriots pick at #27.

Ted Thompson will be on the clock for pick #28 unless he trades up or down.
