    • What will he do?

It's Tackle Andrew Datko , Florida State ..nice pick.

      Andrew Datko
      Green Bay Packers
      Round 7, Pick 241

      Position: T
      Class: Sr
      School: Florida State

      HT: 6'6½"
      WT: 311 lbs.
      40 Time: 5.19
      Conference: ACC

Biography: "Four-year starter that spent most of his career at left tackle. Missed the second half of his senior season with an injury to his shoulder. Also missed three games during his junior season with a similar ailment.

Positives: One-time highly rated tackle who's been pushed down draft boards due to injury. Plays smart football, keeps his head on a swivel and remains alert throughout the action. Works to bend his knees, keeps his feet moving and stays square. Gets his hands into opponents and seals them from the action. Is patient and makes good use of angles and body positioning. Possesses terrific size and is large enough to engulf opponents.

Negatives: Lacks classic footwork sliding out off the edge. Does not possess the overwhelming power necessary to finish blocks.

Analysis: Datko is a mechanically sound blocker with a good head for the game, but he?s been bothered the past two seasons by persistent shoulder injuries. Lining up on the weak side for Florida State, he's better suited for right tackle in the NFL. He must improve his run blocking and get back to full health to have any chance of a career at the next level."

      Projection: 5th

                          40 Time: 4.89
                          Conference: Non-Division I

                          Biography:

"Tennessee transfer who started for three seasons at Chattanooga, winning all-conference honors as a junior. Started seven games last season, missing time due to a shoulder injury, and finished the year with 60.9%/1527 yards/9 TDs/9 interceptions. Junior totals included career-best numbers of 56.3%/2996/26/13.

Positives: Adequately sized passer who flashed ability since his sophomore season. Effectively controls the offense, knows where his receivers are on the field and patient in the pocket. Buys time for receivers, waits until the last moment before releasing the ball and consistently makes proper decisions. Sells ball fakes, locates open receivers and throws a catchable ball. Puts air under deep throws, puts touch on passes and nicely places the ball into targets hands. Displays a sense of timing and for the most part hits receivers in stride.

Negatives: Often releases the ball off his back foot, which results in errant throws. Cannot drive deep passes. Slow taking his eyes from the primary target and going to secondary receivers. Coming off a disappointing senior campaign.

Analysis: Coleman displayed skill the past three years and possesses the physical skills and mental intangibles to compete in a timing or West Coast offense."

                          • 04/23/2012 - NFL DRAFT TOP QUARTERBACKS: B.J. Coleman, Tennessee-Chattanooga, 6-3, 233...An imposing physical specimen, Coleman has natural leadership skills that are evident on the field and around the locker room. He is capable of doing everything necessary to be a pro QB, but needs to learn how to do it and when to do it. Think of him in terms a very raw Brett Favre, who was pretty raw himself when he came out of Southern Mississippi. Coleman was considered one of the top prep quarterbacks in the nation when he selected Tennessee. But after seeing too little action, he transferred to Chattanooga, where his father Byron played (1977-80) with Russ Huesman, now the team's head
coach. After playing in only three games for the Vols, Coleman started 32 at Chattanooga and took advantage of the small-school competition to generate great statistics, but not enough experience against top players to help him improve. He is mobile for his size and has an arm that is so powerful that he needs to learn how to control it. He wasn't able to throw at the combine because of a broken pinky finger, but he wowed the teams that watched him at his pro day. For his career, Coleman completed 583 of 1,016 passes for 6,892 yards, 52 touchdowns and 32 interceptions. He ran for seven more scores and even pooch punted a few times. But if some team wants to take advantage of his ample abilities, it will require time and patience to coach him up to an NFL-caliber quarterback. Perhaps it was with that in mind that he selected agent Bus Cook, who also represented Favre. - Frank Cooney, The Sports Xchange
