I think so, but they might go with five since Neal is coming back in a month. That's an eon in NFL time though. And its not a situation like Wells, where you look at him and figure you can find something better on the street.

Spot on! Hope they get a chance in Miami.

The number is now 56 but I think more than 3 will be cut and TT finds a guy or two to help the OL.

Muir is the head scratcher for me. He played very well, I thought, and was at the veterans minimum. So pickett is now just a back up at NT?

With Raji and Pickett as our NT's does it make sense to keep 3 NTs when we don't play in the base that much?

I think we didn't play base much last season because our DL play was so poor.

I think the next 3 are SO'oto, Ross, and Sherrod to PUP.

One of the LBs, one of the DBs, and Coleman? Like a previous poster stated, Thompson has cut below 53 at this point in the past and later added players from other teams.

That was when we didn't have the depth we do now. I think we have cut some NFL borderline starters. I don't think there will be many teams out there that are deeply talented enough, that their cast-offs would be that attractive to us.

We're never going to get the guys you claim of waivers. We're at the end of that list. Veterans though, guys who are near the end of their career, maybe got cut because a team is rebuilding, overpaid, didn't fit new system, etc. . . . Several of those guys might want to be in GB. Could even end up with a starter if the right guy gets cut.

I could see Ross, So'oto, and Manning too. It depends on if the Pack thinks Manning or Coleman is more likely to be picked up on waivers.
