We've all been here with this team. The list of the walking wounded could fill a roster, guys dropping like flies to IR left and right. The offense is sputtering, the defense is stringing games together with duct tape and chicken wire. The secondary is promising but the big 5 looks more like the meager 3.
But we've got hope. Hope! As in: "Help us Obi DuJuan, you're our only hope".
The fact of the matter is this could shape up to be a real banger of a game, down CJ Wilson and Clay Matthews against ADP, the Vikes sure look to make some hay on the ground. Time for the fatties Raji and Pickett to hold down the fort and Moses to take us to the promised land.
On the other side of the ball we can hope that the reshuffled line gains some experience and confidence this week. I doubt Harris will see many snaps, but who knows? Maybe he represents the reach we're looking for from the coaches and he proves Legand a Legend, whose praises will be sung forevermore in PackerRats lore as (Harris) once again forces the defense to respect, R-E-S-P-E-C-T, the running game at least a little bit.
At the end of the day, I think they'll beat back the barbarians at the gate. All Day will get his but the birthday boy will have his cake and eat it too. The Vikings are a growing young team, but down Harvin and lacking the complements to Allen, they probably just won't do enough in Lambeau where the OL should get some help from the home crowd and the home turf.
The real difference, though, is that Greg Jennings will put the team on his back, dogs.
