7 O-linemen are fine as long as everyone is healthy. They normally dress only 7 for games anyway. Even if Lang can start this week, can he finish the game? EDS and Van Roten are not tackles. If Lang is out, or gimpy to any degree, don't they need another tackle on the 53 man roster? Patler

Yes...I saw that as a problem as I studied our OL situation. A might thin at OL and at backup positions (a lack of NFL experience).

I also see the situation as it presents itself RE: Donald Driver (along with Jarrett Boykin and Jeremy Ross); and 7 WR's total. Although right now I'm not fully up to date in regards to J. Nelson's hammy problem.

I just heard on NFL Access that MM is saying that Jordy Nelson's hammy injury isn't too serious.

He's not expected to play Vs the Lions on Sunday 9 Dec. '12.

I wonder if Datko has progressed on the practice squad.

If so'oto or harris have ST value, then The Donald would seem the logical person to dump. Sad, but true. Just a few short months ago he was Dancing with the Stars.

Jennings has been injury prone the last year, Jordy has his second hamstring injury of the year, and people want to cut/IR Driver? Not a good idea unless his thumb injury is serious.

Well there's one spot evidently opened up. Too bad given that Starks looked good Vs the Vikings and helped give us the running game we need to help protect AR and make our offense less predictable.

RE: Donald Driver:

Personally I'm hoping that DD will soon be able to go (that his season isn't ended) because I'm concerned about Jordy Nelson and his ongoing 'hammy injury' and we just got Greg Jennings back and what if he goes down again? Having a man such as DD with his experience and leadership skills 'even on the sidelines as a backup' is a plus.

( Ryan ) Grant, a 6-foot-1, 222-pound sixth-year player out of Notre Dame, played in 63 games with 52 starts for the Packers from 2007-11 and rushed for 4,016 yards (No. 5 in team history) and 25 TDs on 924 carries (4.3 avg.) over that span. He topped the 1,200-yard rushing mark in both 2008 and 2009, one of only three players in franchise history (Ahman Green, Jim Taylor) to do so in consecutive years. Grant was acquired by the Packers in September 2007 in a trade with the N.Y. Giants, the team that signed him as a non-drafted free agent in May 2005.

(Shea) Allard (Al-urd), a 6-foot-4, 305-pound rookie out of the University of Delaware, signed with the Packers as a non-drafted free agent in May 2012 after participating in Green Bay’s rookie orientation camp on a tryout basis. He was with the team during the preseason before being released on Aug. 31. Allard was a three-year starter at left tackle for the Blue Hens, appearing in 42 career games with 33 starts. He earned first-team All-Colonial Athletic Association honors as a senior and third-team All-CAA recognition as a junior. Allard will wear No. 69.

( Chez) Powell, a 6-foot, 203-pound rookie out of Penn State, entered the NFL as a non-drafted free agent with the Oakland Raiders in May 2012. He was with the Raiders during the 2012 preseason before being released on Aug. 27. Powell played both cornerback and wide receiver and returned kickoffs at Penn State, where he set school career records for kickoff returns (73) and kickoff return yards (1,886). Powell will wear No. 41.
