    Notes:
    Games - Starter Games Lost
    IR - starters on IR
    16g - 16 game starters

    Notice #1 v #32 ...

As for good uses of twitter, I tweeted the author of the article that the IR numbers weren't squaring up with pro-football-reference, and he responded that the IR and 16g columns were flipped. Apparently he fixed it bc the link looks better now .

Quite a list of teams with 6 starters on IR - San Diego, Philly, Jax, Carolina and Detroit. We have the most starter games lost though.

NE and Sea with no starters lost to IR. Charmed life.

No kidding. 2 big ones in the first game of the playoffs. Clemons almost singlehandedly wrecked the Packers in their first game.

I would submit that as long as the one guy doesnt get hurt we will make the playoffs 90% of the time...we just need the rest of the team healthy at playoff time.

It seems like for the last couple years we are always the most injured team in the league. The 2011 season wasn't as bad in terms of number of players injured, but we did lose Collins for career in week 2 which made us a much weaker defense that year and this year as well. Teams like the 49ers, Seahawks, among others, don't have nearly as many injuries as we do. The defense would be a lot stronger if we had Collins, Bishop, and Perry added to the current group.

I think its about time the other teams start losing key players and we stay healthy for a while

I'm really starting to wonder what in the hell is going at 1265 that we have these injury issues. Yes, every team has injuries but it seems like we keep having more than our fair share.

It'd be interesting to look at multi-year injury trends because it sure does seem like GB gets it worse than others. I'm not sure if that is due to their handling of injury or just a recent run of bad injury luck in the last 2 of 3 years.

The injuries to the Packers never seem to work out terribly for them, though. Maybe it's just a roundabout way to promote the young up-and-comers , though I think that argument falls apart when you look at Collins's or Bishop's backups.

The fault lies squarely with TT for drafting injury prone guys.

You typically don't know how injury-prone a player is until he plays in the NFL.
