Capers said it's nice to have someone who can rush outside when Clay moves inside, said this guy can do that.

Patterson is a long ways from the type of WR that Ted looks for but for a few months he's been the consensus top WR in the draft. The Vikings got a top 5 guy and two top 15 guys depending on what mock drafts you look at. Not going to stop me from calling him Hershel Patterson to my viking buddies but they certainly aren't fucking around. I'm a fan of their GM's work so far.70% of the Earth is covered by water. The rest is covered by Al Harris.

I could see it working out that way. They will likely limit snaps for Pickett now that he's getting up there. They need to create more pressure with their scheme. Clay cannot continue to be the only option to provide consistent pressure. I think the Jones pick will push Neal to get better, assuming health of course. I'm excited for the rest of the draft.Originally posted by pbmax View PostPick and Raji rotate at NT and Datone and Neal rotate at 5 opposite Wilson?"Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not his own facts." -Daniel Patrick Moynihan

Justin Smith 6'4" 285 (NFL listed weight)
Datone Jones 6'4" 283 (coming out of college)
Capers talked about him being a guy that can move out when Clay moves in, said they like to do that. It definitely seems like he's a player they envision working well with their franchise defensive player. Smith and Smith do that in SF.Formerly known as JustinHarrell.

Wow, you took such little shit all night long for you to throw in the jab is comical. If any of us went to purplepride we would be roasted without mercy. I think you have it pretty good over here. And I have NO PROBLEM with you. You seem like a great poster. I'm just surprised you are surprised that you are going to get ribbed a little bit over here.Originally posted by Rastak View PostThanks Bretsky, was an interesting first round. Would mean more base 3-4. Capers talked alot about how they liked his height but it was hard to tell if it was the number of questions or really a point of emphasis for Dom.Originally posted by 3irty1 View PostYeah. Athletes like Jones, Neal, Wilson, Daniels and Worthy can drop back into passing lanes for legit zone-blitzes again to get Perry/Matthews involved. Less bigger guys for more smaller guys but still bigger overall.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.
