12 carries for a 3.8 yard average is what Ted just drafted - and it certainly won't be Lacy's fault either.

    So 12 x 3.8 x 16 = 730 yds

We had 9 rushing TD's last year, but Rodgers had 2 of them - so let's give the remaining 7 TD's to Lacy.

TT just spent a 2nd round pick on 730 yds and 7 TD's.

I really didn't think Ted would be dumb enough to do this... so I never really considered this possibility.

    Just wow
Wist, did you want them to address running back in the draft? If so, when did you want them to address it? Who were you comfortable with them choosing?

    • Lacy should be decent, but the OL he was about to run behind at Alabama may be better than the one in GB
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

      • i just read a good line someone posted on PFT

"it’s a shame for Lacy that his ‘Bama line is better than the Packers line"

        probably pretty true unfortunately

          • The difference between benson and every other back was clear to me. It wasn't the stats so much as the consistent yards that kept drives going. MM seemed much more willing to run the ball. This is hopefully going to improve them in the same way.

trent richardson also ran behind the same line and turned out jsut fine.

imo a notch below tr and an instant 1000+ yard rusher

This guy is a led-footed piece of shit.

This is saying a lot, b/c Ted has drafted some real turds - but this is Ted's worst draft pick ever.
I remember when everyone said Brohm was his best pick ever.

still plenty of guys available that can improve the o-line

I don't know how Lacy will pan out but you need to recalibrate your numbers and expectations. The Packers ran for 9 TDs last year. He is going to get that number plus he might steal a couple of Rodgers TD passes (that could be a wash with play action).

And Denver and Washington somehow will run the ball in zone schemes with Montee Ball in Mile High 3Com Fieldhouse and the Redskins with a 6th round pick and do OK. McCarthy has incorporated some power schemes with Lang and the results haven't been dramatic.

They had 433 attempts total so 12 carries a game looks low. He is an improvement.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

                        • Schwenke would be a great pick in round three; I think he'll get picked before us....but I'd love to see him in GB.

SF is pretty DAM SCARY in how they are building this team. They fleeced Tennessee on an earlier trade to get an extra 3rd next year before picking on TT
