Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

I was doing this a few months ago, posting wiki articles about logical fallacies as they were used that is. I was bummed it never caught on.Originally posted by pbmax View Post70% of the Earth is covered by water. The rest is covered by Al Harris.

PB, you're not saying the draftniks and local writers don't know diddly about judging college players, are you?
No, wait, that's what Ted said last year."The Devine era is actually worse than you remember if you go back and look at it."

Ah, but, was he lying, Ã la Wolf in '95? Because that would, yet again, be an Argument from AuthorityOriginally posted by Fritz View PostPB, you're not saying the draftniks and local writers don't know diddly about judging college players, are you?

But Ted, like God in the old Hebrew Franks commercials, is a higher authority.Originally posted by Guiness View PostAh, but, was he lying, Ã la Wolf in '95? Because that would, yet again, be an Argument from Authority

Thanks for posting. Going off Mayock's list, I'd like to see GB either go WR (K.Allen, R.Woods) or DL (Hankins, J.Williams). If Cyprien is still there at 55 I'll be surprised, but I'd be cool with that.Originally posted by Joemailman View PostMayock's Best Available:
Depending on how R2 goes and if they're still there in R3 I like Amerson or Swearinger at S, Schwenke at C, Wheaton at WR, and Jenkins at DT.

Not a big fan of Te'o, I think he'll be ok in the pros. He needs a big DL to protect him or he'll get engulfed (as Alabama showed). He has coverage skills, range and instincts, but most think Ogletree, Brown and Minter are better. He strikes me as the kind of guy you can plug in at MLB and he'll do ok, but you're always looking to replace him. The "he's A.J. Hawk 2.0!" cries aren't far off.
I think someone will like him enough to take him in R2, probably before GB picks at 55. I can't see TT picking him -- if they're dumping D.J. Smith, ILB isn't a need and there are similarly graded players at other positions that would be a better fit.

Holy crap, Mike Silver is really trying to undermine Reggie McKenzie. Is he still made about Hue Jackson?
Oakland, in need of picks, came within two minutes of using the No. 3 pick on D.J. Hayden – before the Dolphins called to save the day.
Here is one: http://t.co/mplLx8z4n7And given that Hayden, as one Raiders source put it, "was taken that high in exactly zero mock drafts," there didn't seem to be much danger of him being snatched up by another team selecting in the top 11.
But what kind of team source trashes a pick the night of and uses mock draft to do it? Did the Packers leak a source that they were crazy for selecting Collins because no one saw him in the second round?
Time to clear out Al's leftovers.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.
