Persian guy is 305. Dude has put on 25 lbs since freshman year. Only going to get larger. Ferguson of the Jets also has this type of build.

Its not uncommon for passing o-linemen having problems with running on short yardage. Your frustration appears to have been addressed with blocking te and lacy.

Williams could have also played fullback in short yardage/goal line situations.
In terms of body type?? Maybe...

    Somewhere inbetween Brandon here...

    And the persian guy...

Short torso, long legs, barrel chest. Is this Wist's favorite body type.

Remember that photo of the Packer throwback uniforms that had Nelson and Jones in it. The one that made Jones and Nelson look to be the same size?

One photo doesn't tell you much.

As for actual news Packers sign three rookie practice invitees to the roster:

            Jason Wilde ‏@jasonjwilde 55m
CB Brandon Smith, WR Tyrone Walker, FB Jonathan Amosa, per Bill. MT @PackerReport: #Packers sign 3 tryout players: http://bit.ly/12o83Yd
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

6' 3", 242 lbs Jones versus 6' 3", 217 lbs Nelson. Clearly the Packer roster lies and Nelson is as big as Jones.

                  Rookie Camp Wrapup

                  - McCarthy made a point to mention Kansas State RB Angelo Pease, who was signed. But remember past McCarthy minicamp and OTA faces Nick MacDonald and Allen Barbre proved to be more hype than help.

                  - OL switch was to solidify left side first and foremost. Barclay, Lang and Newhouse have all spent time on the right side so he doesn't expect them to be lost. No Sherrod mention in blog item.

                  - Felt overall this was one of their best rookie camps.

                  - Changes have been made to Phase 3 OTA. Less team drills, more individual work. M3 did not like how they came out of the newly shortened OTAs last year.

                  - Coleman in running for #2 job.

                  - Thinks Kevin Green has done great job as OLB coach not only with top draft picks (Matthews/Perry) but also Jones, Walden, Zombo, now Moses, Palmer and Mulumba.

Moses had some decent moments filling in for Matthews during his hamstring hiatus last December. Assuming he has enough it in him to hold the edge on the strong side, it would be nice to see him push Perry for playing time.

Food for thought from McCarthy, via Wilde at espnwisconsin.com:

“I went through the specifics of our roster, how many first-rounders are on our team. How many second-, third-rounders are on our team, the makeup,” McCarthy said, recounting his speech to the rookies. “Fifty percent of our football team is sixth-, seventh-round draft picks and free agents.

At this point Moses is a one trick pony -- pass rusher -- gets demolished in the run game.

Moses will have a tough time making the roster.

I'm a big fan of Moses. He's got the upside to be a player, 1.61 10 yard dash, 36.5" vertical, decent agility numbers too for a 3-4 OLB. Best part about him though is his super physical violent style. You can tell he's Kevin Greene's type of guy--fucking crazy. Only way he doesn't make the 53 is if they take him away in a straight jacket.

LOL Yeah guys like this will backup CM3 and play ST. With a full year of Kevin Greene, he might show improvement.

One of my friends is roommates with Kevin Greene's nephew who is also a Packers fan. He and his uncle are pretty close and we were talking about Perry last season and he was telling me how his uncle was saying Perry has all the tools in the world but he just can't seem to light a fire under his ass. He then went on to mention this undrafted rookie who he loved...can you guess who he was talking about?

After losing Walden and Zombo and from what I've heard about the guy he is pretty much a lock to make the roster.
