First practice underway, here is what seems worth Tweeting about.

Alex Green, just prior to being cut, gets first team reps at HB. Possibly, an audition as prelude to trading him.

    Pete Dougherty ‏@PeteDougherty 1h
Hayward n House passed physicals but r standing on side during warm ups. Not sure if they will practice, will update

    Wes Hodkiewicz ‏@WesHod 58m
Personal observation but Johnny Jolly does appear lighter than OTAs

#Packers non participants: RB Harris, S Richardson, CB Hayward, CB House, S Powell, LB Lattimore, OL Tretter, Sherrod, DLs Neal and Worthy

MD Jennings and Sam Shields starting in secondary.

    >THEY SHOULD JUST DO AWAY WITH THE DRAFT

Second team offensive line same as OTAs: Bahtiari, Datko, GVR, Taylor and Barclay

    >I AM NOT ENOUGH OF A CONTRARIAN (NOR DO I WORK AT SLATE) TO SAY I PREFER THIS LINE TO THE STARTERS. BUT ITS CLOSER THAN IT SHOULD BE.

    Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 1h
Johnny Jolly has a helmet problem and isn't getting any reps on defense.

Jolly's been out of football for three years. Maybe he forgot how to strap it on.
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

#Packers continue to treat dropped passes as fumbles. First one by Jeremy Ross, then by Angelo Pease. Not fumbles but treated as such.

Punt drill and Randall Cobb is back with Tramon Williams. But this is punt coverage, not punt return, so we still don't know who's No. 1.
