I wonder how severe Dorsey's strained hammy is.

Most of the talk here is about Johnson, but Dorsey has similar size and speed. Why aren't we yapping him up as much?

Johnson had a lot of production. Dorsey was hurt by the QB situation and new offense at Maryland I think.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

But given those circumstances, he would seem equally intriguing. Size and speed.

I don't know about his hands, though. I have read Johnson catches the ball well.

One of these guys, if healthy, will make this team, I think. Maybe Boykin is in for the fight of his life.

I would like to see them find a place for Jeremy Ross as a return guy. I wasn't impressed with Cobb's returns by the end of the year - too much east-west hocus pocus. Ross can get it up the field.

Undrafted rookie Alex Gillett, a former QB at Eastern Michigan, runs a nice route here on Loyce Means.
          Heh heh
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

Just checking in today. Have other things going on. If no one else does it, might do it tonight.

                Micah Hyde taking his place.

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 1m
He's on one knee and smiling but not with the No. 1s.

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 1m
Tramon Williams on the sideline. Can't tell if he's hurt but he's not taking reps.

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 3m
                TV timeout. Metallica

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 5m
Tap me if you've heard this before. jarret bush got beat deep by Myles White.
                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 7m
Jerron McMillian just dropped a sure interception. Nice play bad hands.

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 8m
Someone drilled Franklin a little harder than necessary and it created a big skirmish. Maybe the O should actually block for him.

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 9m
Starks continues to be one of the most impressive guys in camp.

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 10m
Cobb got run over from behind by Alex Green while blocking. He's ok.

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 11m
Brad jones is the dime linebacker just like last year. Hawk is off the field.

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 14m
Lattimore was the injured guy. Karma is a you know what.

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 15m
Starks looked really good on a check down over the middle. Nice catch and run.

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 17m
Jamari Lattimore just blew up Alex Green and then let the offensive sideline know about it.

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 19m
Eddie Lacy just went down on an arm tackle by Jordan Miller. Bad.

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 19m
Johnathan Franklin showing nice feet in breaking tackle in the middle and breaking outside.

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 20m
BJ Coleman nice throw on the run to Jeremy Ross, who made a nice catch.

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 22m
Nate Palmer a nice move to sack Harrell.

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 25m
Rodgers underthrows Cobb on long crossing route.

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 26m
Starks sidesteps Matthews for a nice gain. Good job of following his block.

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 27m
Alex Green big cutback hole for 20 yard gain.

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 27m
                TV timeout. U2?

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 28m
Starks said he's not going to be stupid about refusing to go down and absorbing unnecessary punishment.

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 29m
Jolly just hit Starks who wouldn't go down, but he gathered himself and threw Starks down.

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 31m
Jordan Miller beat his guy and pounded Eddie Lacy.

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 31m
We know a rookie fullback can't block Datone Jones. Amosa got his RB smashed by Jones.

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 33m
Newhouse blocked down on Jolly and buried him.

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 34m
Inside run drill now. Desman Moses just jacked up a tight end.

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 35m
First shoving match: Raji vs. Van Roten.

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 36m
If ever gets hot around here again these guys' bodies are going to be in for a shock.

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 48m
Linebackers and tight ends are going after it one on one. Nick Perry just drove Ryan Taylor back.

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 51m
It's clear Jolly still knows how to play the position. It's just a matter of seeing if his body still has life in it.

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 53m
Mike Trgovac working over his rookies, Jones, Pena and Boyd. Telling his vets to give them everything in one on one drill.

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 58m
Lloyce Means up on KOR. this guy can fly.

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 1h
Eddie Lacy is working as the fullback in place of Kuhn now on kickoffs. Johnathan Franklin was the returner.

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 1h
James Nixon muffed his first KOR attempt.

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 1h
Cobb was No. 2 Shields is No. 3. Return unit is all veterans. No rookies. That will change.

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 1h
Kickoff return Jeremy Ross up first.

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 1h
Franklin gets hit by Lloyce Means and coughs up short pass. Good hit.

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 1h
First play, James Jones leaps over Sam Shields on a fade for a long catch.

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 1h
                Ok, now some team action.

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 1h
Fun to watch the D-line do interception drill. They'd tuck the ball away if they could but there's nowhere to tuck it.

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 1h
Mostly non-contact right now. Not much going on.

                Tom Silverstein ‏@TomSilverstein 1h
First day of pads: can't wait to lay out Dunne across the middle.

I'd like to know when Lacy got stuffed was he behind the starting O linemen or backups. I hope to get to a practice before I return to FL in a couple of weeks.

Johnny Jolly and Andrew Datko get into it and another scrum breaks out.
This team needs Jolly. I mean it. He brings a sense of nastiness they sometimes lack on defense.

Hey Joe, do you remember when a Packer defense guy was flagged for unnecessary roughness, MM called him on it and the defense guy said something like: "Hell, I'm not going to change. That's my style." That wasn't Jolly, was it?
