  • He's a warm body. Sign him.
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

    • I hate the Bears but bring the guy in......unmotivated most of the time the dude could be a beast if he wanted. Maybe playing against the Bears might do the trick.

      • J'Marcus Webb was pretty bad. And I think the Packers are thinner at G/C

        • Webb was a 7th round pick who was good enough to start for a while because the Bears OL sucked.

That being said, If TT signs him, I'm willing to reconsider.

          • I saw Webb was released and was going to remark on it just to point out a guy we should not get just because he's a warm body!

The Packers sure had a lot of fun abusing this turnstile. Thanks for the great memories j’Marcus!

All camp, the #Chargers kept the left tackle competition open between King Dunlap & Max Starks. It ended today. Starks among 11 cuts

              How about an ex-Steeler lineman?
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Read that Starks looked really poor this preseason. Couldn't make it on a Chargers OL that is one of the worst in the league.

                      • Now here's a real change of pace RB ... OR put this guy in the same backfield with Lacy and you've got version two of John Brockington and MacArthur Lane.

The New York Daily News reports the Giants are "very unlikely" to re-sign free agent Brandon Jacobs.
It's a logical connection because Jacobs has played for the Giants in the past, but illogical from the standpoint that he's never been a third-down back type. The Giants are searching for help in pass protection after losing Andre Brown to a left-leg fracture. Tim Hightower would make a lot more sense.

                            • Antoine Winfield is expected to be released by Seattle. I say we sign him, play him at RB and let him strip Charles Tillman after he strips one of the Packer WRs.
