That makes them what the are - thugs. I was reading the GDT on football's future's NE forum a little while ago and the NE fans were bitching about how dirty the Loins are. I was tempted to post that we see this crap from them twice a year.

Watching the game last night I was thinking what if Luke Kuechly and the Claymaker were in the same LB corps. Wow.One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

The Seahawks were playing very dirty last week v. the Broncos. Lots of late hits and little BS past the whistle. In a preseason game.Originally posted by Pugger View PostThat makes them what the are - thugs. I really want to see Lacy v. Browner in the open field. I'd love to see him lay that dirty bastard out. When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro ~Hunter S.

Quick roundup; some of these might have already been mentioned:
Tony Moeaki breaks his shoulder
Stephen Gilmore out 6-8 weeks
Kevin Kolb's career done (concussions)?
Will Smith (the NO player, not the MIB guy) put on IR
The NFL has suspended Minnesota Vikings fullback Jerome Felton for three games without pay for violating the NFL substance-abuse policy. Adrian Peterson's job just got tougher without his lead blocker.
Chargers put Melvin Ingram on reserve PUP
SEA puts Jesse Williams (who I really liked pre-draft, before all the news about him having chronically bad knees leaked) on IR.
I expect many players to go on IR with cuts looming.

Why is Adrian Peterson not playing in preseason games at all? Is he healthy? No carries in game 3, and now they're saying he won't dress for game 4.
I can understand if they want to avoid unnecessary risk, but that's a little much, especially for an RB.--

for his sake, I hope he plays no more.Originally posted by Guiness View Post"Never, never ever support a punk like mraynrand. Rather be as I am and feel real sympathy for his sickness." - Woodbuck

Why would he play? RB is the most abused position on the team and AP is the franchise. Rest him until the games count, because he will take a real pounding for the rest of the season.Originally posted by Guiness View PostWhy is Adrian Peterson not playing in preseason games at all? Because according to conventional wisdom, no work in pads or camp results in torn ACLs.Originally posted by MadScientist View PostWhy would he play? Then he asked for more hookers and blow.
