My question exactly. Is he hurt or did Capers just game plan in a way that doesn't call for an extra run-stopping DE?

Watch the ST suffer from Bush's absence. Fire Slocum!

With Neal (who is a DT in nickel), they have 7 active lineman and playing time would be hard to come by for a run stuffer. Also, they get to activate Barrington and have an extra LB to throw on the field.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Good catch. Will be fun to see Justin referencing the playoffs in Week 17

I may be crazy, but I like Wilson. Geez, we need a run stopper against Shanahan and Morris. I hope they learned from last week.
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

I think they're going with an extra ST guy with Bush out. Plus, with Finley's toe injury, all the other TE's are active.

Kicking game could be exciting. Kai Forbath is inactive for Washington.

Rodgers has a 'great' game but doesn't play 'perfect'.
Matthews has at least two sacks.
                Lacy runs for 100 yards.
GB offense goes for over 400 yards.

RGIII goes ballistic on GB's leaky secondary.
Other than Matthews, no GB defensive front line pressure.
Washington puts up over 500 yards total offense - easy.
Washington wins the turnover battle - once again, will be the difference in the game.
Washington wins time of possession battle; 35m -25m.

                Washington 38 Green Bay 34.

Green Bay fans left once again to wonder .... WTF ....
                Same old, same old ....

All sorts of interesting thoughts waking up this morning:

                  1) Rain - The advantages for the Pack are that it slows down RG3 in the pocket preventing scrambles. Unfortunately, it also slows down our potent offense which probably would have easily victimized the Skins' shaky secondary in normal conditions. Look for more of a ground game and pounding Lacy up the gut for 3-4yds. Advantage: EVEN.

                  2) Bush out - ST looked marginal last game. The Redskins could take one to the house if Bush's sub poops the bed. On the other side, Kai can't kick, putting an inexperienced nothing out on a big stage. Advantage: PACK.

                  3) Burnett out - WHY GOD WHY. Hopefully Banjo sees more time and McMillian learns to fucking tackle. Advantage: SKINS

Overall, I think the above 3 will make for a close game. The stronger team in the trenches will win this won. Another physicality gut check for the Pack this week.

Pretty sure Jolly takes that role over. Then neither plays much in nickel. I think they wanted an extra backer on the Active Roster.

Game plan different for Redskins than 49ers probably.

Rain favors Green Bay as does home field. Lacy hits the century mark, GB defense steps up and Packers win 31-17.

Almost has to with Bush out. If McMillan plays dime CB, need a second safety. One of the D coaches this week said House would stay outside and Tramontana would move inside if they had to do it that way.

Maybe it was Silverstein who reported that:

With Bush out for the #Packers either S Banjo is the dime or Williams or Shields moves into the slot and House plays outside.

I am hoping we see something a little different. Read option aside, two very different offenses and running games. Redskins much more conventional running game. QB is the unconventional piece here.
