Nice stat. Tim Jennings has more TDs from Ponder than Greg Jennings.

        POINT TO CONSIDER

If Jay Cutler actually remains around the 100 range, is that good enough for Chicago to win the Division ? That teams seems so opportunistic. They seem so lucky but that DL looks like it can make our OL their bitch. I was on record as thinking they made a very good hire and I really wish Lovie Smith was still around. Dude is a steller Offensive coach that will be good for Cutler. It would not surprise me........if the same thing happens this year as a few years ago

Bears Win the Division but the Packer sweep the Bears and make the playoffs as a wildcard.
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

Are you watching the same bears I am? Dalton and ponder both lit them up. Roethlisberger was the first qb they have applied pressure to. They are getting by with turnovers and defensive touchdowns. Now melton is out for the year. Let's see what happens when their depth gets tested some

Yeah, it smells like a repeat of last year for the division--except the Lions replace the Vikings as the third team that challenges for a playoff spot. GB passes Chicago late--thanks to a season sweep.

              Week 4

Aaron Rodgers - Green Bay 105.1 (3rd overall) Last week 105.1

Matt Stafford - Detroit 96.2 (7th overall) Last week 99.9

Jay Cutler - Chicago 85.1 (17th overall) Last week 94.2

Christian Ponder - Minnesota 65.9 (31st overall) Last week 65.9

Rodgers had a bye. Stafford continued to be solid. Cutler had a big drop. Ponder did not play in Vikings win. Cassell played well, but I won't include him until either he is named the starter, or he has played in at least half their games.

              Week 5 Matchups:

              Aaron Rodgers vs. Detroit
              Matt Stafford at Green Bay
              Jay Cutler vs. New Orleans
Christian Ponder/Matt Cassell have a bye.

                Week 5

Aaron Rodgers - Green Bay 105.5 (5th overall) Last week 105.1

Matt Stafford - Detroit 94.9 (9th overall) Last week 96.2

Jay Cutler - Chicago 93.0 (11th overall) Last week 85.1

Christian Ponder - Minnesota 65.9 (31st overall) Last week 65.9

Rodgers and Stafford didn't change much. Cutler had a big rebound against Saints. Vikings had a bye.

                Week 6 Matchups:

                Aaron Rodgers at Baltimore
                Matt Stafford at Cleveland
                Jay Cutler vs. N.Y. Giants
                Christian Ponder/Matt Cassell vs. Carolina

When will we be seeing Josh Freeman's name in there?

Talk about flailing around for a QB.

Since the season's begun, we focus more on the short term - as we should - but I like that in the long term, the NFC North teams - other than GB - fuck themselves over and over. Minny has invested in three different QB's with either fairly high draft picks or a fairly large short-term contract, Chicago is, well, Chicago - aging and hoping - and Detroit - well, they've bet the farm on their slew of free agents, as they've renogotiated a couple big contracts a couple of times to afford to sign them. They do so because if they're not drafting in the top ten, they don't seem to draft very well. Titus Young over Randall Cobb, Bill Bentley over Craig Hayward, and so on.

Think you meant Casey Hayward, not ol Ironhead...easy mistake. Yeah, Cutler's contract is up and he's gonna want out or to get paid. Detroit's cap could get ugly, and I don't see them keeping both Suh and Fairley, and the rest of the WR's behind Calvin Johnson aren't scary. Adrian Peterson will be on his last legs before they find a better-than-average starting QB (which seems to be a low bar).

GB will have its own tough decisions to make, but having a top 5 QB with a good receiving group hides a lot of flaws. Nobody else in the division has that.

                              Regarding Cutler:

What the hell do you do with his contract? Do you sign him as a top 8 QB like he will probably be requesting? Do you chuck him and literally start from scratch? I'm glad I'm not the GM over in Chicago.
