I agree. Fuck these late games. Last year I lived on the east coast. Man fuck that. Game doesn't start till 8:30 and you're lucky if it's done by midnight.

I have a hard time making it past 9:30 most nights, but I'll stay up for the game. The best part is I have Jury Duty tomorrow morning. A grumpy old man and a courthouse full of Bears fans defendants. Priceless.

I loved living in Cali during the football season. Packer game was 10-1 and then you had all of Sunday afternoon to do whatever. Monday night games started at 6pm back then and you could hit the bars, drink, watch the game and be home by 10:30.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

pfff, that sounds like 3 or 4 hours of nap time to me

and if you get picked you just have to say something like "i don't think black people are real human beings", they'll send you home with a few bucks in your pocket

AND just a little weather update

its packer bear weather in green bay right now

forcast for kickoff is cloudy, 49 degrees and 21 MPH winds out of the south endzone (moving from right to left on the TV)

Should be a good game. Curious to see how McCarthy manages Lacy's carries. He said he wants it to be more around 20, so I can see Lacy for about 20 and Starks for 10 or so. You need to take advantage of the 29th ranked run defense.

" This line opened at Green Bay minus-7.5 at the Las Vegas Hotel and was quickly bet up to 10.5. Not surprisingly, 66 percent of the public likes the Packers to cover, according to ESPN Insider's PickCenter "

My parents live in Arizona and it's the same way pretty much. SNF and MNF start at 5:30. You can even do something after the game if you choose. And like you said, you have all of Sunday afternoon for whatever. If the Badgers play at 9 AM on Saturday, which they do often, you also have all day Saturday for whatever.

Swede: My expertise in this area is extensive. The essential difference between a "battleship" and an "aircraft carrier" is that an aircraft carrier requires five direct hits to sink, but it takes only four direct hits to sink a battleship.

Our local High School has a second round playoff game tonight at home with a 7:30 CST start time but I think I'll hang around and watch the Packers instead. They're playing a team they beat earlier in the season and it's small town 8-man football which I still have a hard time enjoying because the games are usually more like track meets with very high scoring. Maybe since Goodel and the NFL are so intent on having high scoring/Maddenesque type games they should change to an 8-man format.
