It's worth nothing. I can remember Packer players after the 1991 season saying Lindy Infante shouldn't be fired.

T.J. Lang: We didn’t have any production on offense. Probably the worst (expletive) offensive day in the history of the (expletive) #Packers
I was thinking about that this evening. Trying to recall when I felt the team get so beaten up.

40-10 or defeated by 30 points.

Offense by Detroit 330 yards passing and 211 yards rushing = 541 yards of total offense .

Packers passing = 139 yards; Packers rushing an unbelievable low... I'm looking at this in total disbelief..20 yards.

Eddie Lacy managed 16 yards of rushing on 10 carries. I'm nearly puking trying to type this.

Matt Flynn ran for 4 yards on 2 carries.

That's beyond anything described as bad.

How is Mike McCarthy going to handle this post game?

I'll respect him if he simply informs us of how he truly feels and no silly sugar coating.

I can't wait for this regular season to end and see TT make the necessary changes.

I'm in some sort of shock I don't truly understand. I mean it's like grieving and I know that this team needs a big overhaul.

I observed Wist43 trying so hard to inform you people of what we really had on 'D'. I totally agreed with this member as it became obvious to me that he was most likely correct. I don't know why more members here couldn't get past whatever it was that held many of you back from believing him. He'a a Packer fan and on your side. He realized last season that Dom Capers wasn't working.

We all know that Slocum isn't working.

The secondary isn't working and our DL isn't getting it done.

Are we going to blame it on adversity and a trickle down effect?

Wist43: First I realize he's not well. I hope it's a health issue that he can contain.

No solid knowledgeable fan such as Wist43 is would commit to informing y'all as he did without serious consideration for his TRUTH. Did he go so far with his concern for y'all and trying to help you understand that he fell ill? I don't know.

I simply hope that Wist43 is OK.

That aside the question now is......

What will TT and MM do about this?

There are some really smart Packer fans here. How long do we excuse this and that and lay blame on adversity? Adversity and bad luck in terms of injury is simply a part of the NFL and being capable of handling that. It's how a team deals with adversity that sifts the good from the mediocre teams.

We saw MM's call and the shift on the OL before this season began. It was my impression then that the Packers OL isn't strong nor deep enough.

The DL in a 3-4 defense isn't effective without a solid pass rush and run 'D' supported by a solid LB core.

The Packer secondary is simply weak physically and somehow confused in terms of assignments.

It just goes on and on and on ...on both sides of the LOS and with ST's and the conditioning staff and well all over.

I'm just sick of seeing it get to this. I shouldn't post this and don't have any answers. I wish I had some answers.

I'm simply ... a simple Packer fan in some grief. I'm not even venting as I don't have the energy for that.

      PACKERS !

I started watching this after I stopped being wildly optimistic about the outcome. They went nickel 2-4 every time Detroit went 3 WR, no matter down and distance. Strictly personnel matchup. And when they ran on it, it worked. But the Oakie didn't hold up to the run either.

Normally I agree but I haven't seen a weaker double team in a long time. Lang one armed him, which could be his assignment (check both A gaps when not covered) but Newhouse acted like he was going to get help.

Last two series, he came in after Lane Taylor replaced Newhouse at guard after Newhouse gave up the safety.

Sherrod looked assignment sure and had two good pass block sets. He got to the second level on a LB for a run to the right but someone broke free and killed the play before the rb got to the hole.

Talking w/ Don Barclay, Marshall Newhouse didn't rep at RG at all this week and then draws Suh. He's struggled but that's a tough assignment
That is damming unless he has repped other weeks. I wonder why no Barclay switch to Guard?

                • In other news. I held out hope that Perry would put some spine in the run defense and he had a couple of forces., but the D line is just giving up away too much room.

And when the LBs do come in free, they either miss tackles or get dragged for yardage.

Pickett is having horrible year on the nose. His injury is bad or he is done.

                  • And yes, Jeremy Ross is a pretty big indictment of the Special Teams coaches. He should stayed as a punt returner and not dismissed when he struggled as a kick returner.

It'll be interesting to see all that the Lions can get out of Jeremy Ross. He had a solid game.

50 out 53 drafted by TT. Not a TT basher but beginning to Wonder.

Free Agency abandoned yet yielded studs as Chuck, Pickett & trade for Grant.

I said last season that without Rodgers the Packers were just like the Colts without Manning; a 2-14 team. This season is the proof of that.

Packer org. blowing/blew chance of dynasty - Aaron must be sick to the gut!

Coaching staff blew it; makes them look fortunate and not at all talented...more like Barry Switzer coaches.
                          Over react much?

what you should say is 57 out of 60 drafted by TT, because injuries certainly hurt this team. I said before the season started that losing Bulaga was a huge blow. I had such high hopes of Bulaga/Sherrod manning the edges when TC started. Take that away and replace with rookie 4th and undrafted FA and it changes things. Now break Cobbs leg. hurt Barclay, Take JJones away for stretches and break ARods collarbone and its not ever going to be pretty.

Coming into next TC we could be looking at an OL of Sherrod, Sitton, Tretter, Lang, Bulaga with Bach as top backup. A new DC and we will all be pissing red from the cherry kool aid we are guzzling. And just imagine if a safety emerges and we draft an ILB.

Our kick and punt return coverage team left the building again today.
He can't be mad at GB for cutting him, he couldn't hold onto the fucking ball. Thats on him.

I am getting the distinct feeling that MM isn't confident giving him a heavy workload yet. I think we see him play sparingly for the rest of the season, adding a handful of snaps each week.

It's very difficult to gauge the ability of a player when they have gone against a Slocum ST.
