That was a completely different Packer team/relatively healthy roster... back then. We did suffer some loss's out of that game ie Francois .... and after that it just got worse.
Injuries have crippled this team with the BIG BLOW >>> Aaron Rodgers.
We know why he gets paid the $ BIG MONEY$; the fact he's the Packers MVP (demonstrated clearly) when he's not playing (or injured).
Your suggestions and focus for this coming off season work for me.
Packer DC Dom Capers might serve himself best by announcing that he'll be leaving the Green Bay Packers at the conclusion of this season. He won't go there because like us he's on an Aaron Rodgers watch. As Packer fans we're aware where the weakness's are as a result of AR's absence. As fans we must accept that any changes in terms of coaching and the roster, will be as always, in the capable hands of Packer GM Ted Thompson.
Your point bobblehead.... beginning early this season. RE: the loss of Bryan Bulaga and the Derrick Sherrod situation (he finally saw the field yesterday in that loss to the LIONS) is accurate in terms of it's immense detriment to the Green Bay Packers overall success in terms of the Offensive Line. We know what 'deadwood' must be removed and have certain optimism for a solid OL in the future.
I agree with you here. To understand why the Packers are where they are now we merely must reflect on the status of these players this season:
a) Randall Cobb
b) Clay Matthews III
c) James Jones
d) Tracy Hayward
That list as we know .... goes on... and on.
Before I went to bed last night I took stock of it all and I realized this:
It will be OK.
This morning I can end my post in the usual way:
GO PACK GO !
