I think everyone around him picked it up perhaps.

The word on him was that he inspired that kind of confidence, that he had real leadership,qualities. Would the team pick up their game for Tolzien? Or Wallace?

Probably not, but I am still not sure it explains the first half. Did the team stop believing in him for 30 minutes?

His teammates seem to love him, at least on Game Day. We will find out this week if that holds true. If it does, he might just have the Cam Newton problem of public perception.

Yeah, I have zero explanations for his Jekyll and Hyde except that he is exceedingly mediocre overall and the 1st half was his worst characteristics and the 2nd his best.

My guess -- Rodgers is coaching him up in the locker room. Maybe not "coaching" per se, but they're having a conversation about what's going on, the two have a good rapport, and Flynn is smart enough to process it in time to make it useful. Of course, I'm sure it works better when they're behind and don't shuffle the OL near halftime .

No, but they sure didn't play well. I just don't understand the last two games, crap the first half and then lights out the second. As you said earlier, this is unlike the teams we are used to seeing. It's inexplicable.

that sam shields int was something else. lets talk about the blown coverage there. you had sam shields, who was beaten and running behind whitten, and you also had another cowboy running free in the same area. shields was the only guy deep. if that pass is on target or if shields dives and misses, then its a td and game over for the cowboys.
