Often, they'll even review the replay to find out what it should be. This group of officials wasn't exactly stellar, so it's not very surprising. Flynn probably would have missed a wide open Jordy again, if he got a chance to run another play. More than anything, blame Lang for doing what you absolutely cannot do in that situation. Blame Nick Perry for doing the same on the Steelers last drive.
It would have to lose more than 3 seconds to get a review for the clock outside of the end of the game. I think this happens more often than we notice.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

      no it wasn't

i was paying attention to the cast after he hurt it. the thumb was completely exposed. in fact the cast had all the fingers exposed.

maybe the thumb part of the cast broke off. but the whole thing was exposed after the sack.

which makes you wonder what the hell the point of the cast even was

i'm guessing if he had screws or pins still in there, then he's done. if he didn't still have hardware in there then he probably just re-broke it. it would be much worse if he broke a pin or screw.

either way, i'm guessing he needs another surgery and is probably done for the year

the thing that they didn't want to happen to rodgers, is the thing that just happened to clay. why clay was able to play with a still broken thumb but a-rod could not play with his own broken bone, is a mystery to me
Pins are out of his thumb.

Are you even sure the missing 3 seconds is even reviewable?

            • Today's game was proof positive why you needed Rodgers in this game. 2 turnovers = 14 points (or 10 w/o Perrys f-up offside). Open receivers missed, clock mgmt mix up at the end.

Turnovers, special teams and the piss poor pass rush cost us this game.

well, m3 can't throw the challenge flag, and he had no timeouts to take to tell the refs to put three seconds on the clock

the clock was running, if you sit there and argue with the ref about it, they aren't going to stop the clock to go look and give green bay a free timeout. they're gonna let the clock continue to run while you yap and let the clock run out

                • This is on the special teams. Flynn didn't have a great day but neither did Big Ben. I don't think the elements were very good for the passing game.

                    • If Flynn had been here sooner we are probably already "in". He's not Rodgers. He's a better than average backup.

could just be a tweek of the sprained ankle he's had for a few weeks now

he might not be out for next week

                                Good call.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.
