Jeffrey should be a big concern, he's a viable 2nd option...at least he was with McCown. He had 6 catches against the Eagles so Cutler is aware he exists.

It will be interesting to see how these two get covered Sunday, I think it will be one of the keys to the game for the Pack on defense. Well, that and how Forte will be handled with Jolly gone, that bothers me as well.

There's a lot in the Bears offense not to discount or disrespect.

The Bears receiving core is certainly if incorporated properly 'a certain challenge' for the Green Bay Packers secondary. Our DB's have to be at their very best or the task ahead for our refound QB will go for naught.

The Bears have a tall and strong receiving core and when clicking on all cylinders extremely difficult to hold down.

WR Alshon Jeffrey - 6' 3", 216 lbs and (86 rec's for 1341 yards and 7 TDs) gets what WR Brandon Marshall - 6' 4", 230 lbs. ( 94 Rec's for 1,221 yards and 11 TD's) is denied. Both at > 1000 yards receiving is impressive. Alshon Jeffrey is a human highlight reel. Don't forget WR Earl Bennett who has been excused from Bears practise again this week because of personal issues and family adds depth ( 32 Rec's. for 243 yards and 4 TD's).

That's 22 TDs through the air with three WR's. Unimpressed!?

The Bears have a tall strong TE in Martellus Bennett ( 64 receptions for 744 yards and 5 TDS.)

We're now up to 27 TD's.

There isn't 'at least arguably' a better dual threat RB in the NFL than the Bears RB Matt Forte.

After 1,776 total yards rushing and receiving add 9 more TD's !.

There's five offensive Bears and an impressive 36 TD's.

That's some juice right there !

I think the sense of helplessness is more, to see the other team's best player show up the week you play them has to be disheartening.

Based on the dif in GB's wei off DVOA now and when he went out, Rodgers healthy changes GB playoff odds from 33% to 48%.

< 50% still seems wrong, but...

I guess GB has to win outright. They can't tie.

Adding Rodgers just ups our chances provided he can stay on the field. The bears offense sucked last week but they've been good all season. Our defense vs Forte, Marshall, Jefferies, and Bennett is a terrible matchup for us. We are likely going to need to put up a huge number to win this game.

MM had better not get pass happy just because he's got Rodgers back. This bears team has been gashed in the run game as badly as we have recently. Whether it's Lacy, Starks, or Bell we need to run run run and utilize the play action pass and the quick passing game to protect Rodgers from an O-line that can't pass protect for shit.

Gotta send unconventional pressure on a lot of plays. If nothing else, force Jay to move in a direction he doesn't like. If you do that, it's coming from where he can see it so you have to cut off his quick/hot read. Requires a lot of discipline.

BTW, I disagree about the number one threat being out - by the end, Capers was so often wasting Matthews it was making me sick. But that's a great off-season subject - maybe for a month or so from now..... [/wishful thinking]
