Making the drive after a playoff win is really, really fun though (like last year vs. Joe Webb)

That's a family tradition driving home from Packer games. It's especially fun to drive through the heart of Chicago after a Packer win/Chicago loss, with the Packer flags flying and waving at every car that has Bears stickers/flags on it.

But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

still 8500 tickets left to sell and the blackout deadline is tomorrow at 4:30 est i think. only 6500 sold in the last 2 days

three of the 4 wildcard games could be blacked out in their home markets.

i swear to god, if i am unable to watch a packer playoff game because its blacked out, i will be done with the NFL for good. that will be the last straw, the nfl shits all over its fans more than enough already IMO

I'm a bit surprised here; with that being said I'd rather stay home than go
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

So, if not for the last expansion in the end zone, the game would be nearly sold out.

All very interesting. It seems like there is a limit to how loyal NFL fans really are.

At least a limit on how much money fans will pay a month upfront for a challenging playoff run.

i think it shows people are unwilling to pay the insane sums for nfl tickets, or people don't have money anymore

we might have hit the breaking point

for me, even if i had more then 5 dollars to my name. 1 ticket, plus gas to and from the game would run me around $200

thats just too much these days

I don't know, I hear all the reasons for not being able to sell the tickets, but it still does not seem right. Alas, maybe it boils down to no faith in a win?

I think that is part of it. The other part is that with four divisions and two wild cards, you get some decided underdogs at home where a lot of playoff tickets will not have been bought by the season ticket holders.

Hey you don't get an opportunity at the game to get coverage of the order that Troy Aikman and Joe Buck provide.

Best part of tickets left for sale was watching Packer writers to to discern how the blackout would affect TV viewing and how much it would cost a sponsor to buy up the tickets.

Vadermause, before someone corrected him calculated 8.500 tickets would cost $1 million dollars to buy up. He forgot the team can buy the tickets from themselves for 34% of face value AND they only need to sell non-premium seating.

Tickets running from $102 to 125, let's call that an average cost of 113.5. If ALL 8,500 available are non-premium, the Packers can put the game on TV for:

                                8,500
                                x 113.5
                                ----------
                                $964,750
                                x .34
                                ----------
                                $328,015
