not get a sell out? probably not. remember they nearly went out of business way back in the day. i'll bet there were some games in the pre-Lombardi era that didn't sell out too.Originally posted by denverYooper View PostThere it is:

#Packers received an extended deadline to sell roughly 3,000 remaining tickets for Sunday's game. First time in franchise history?

gonna be tough to sell those in 24 hours, there's also 5 or 6 thousand on the nfl ticket exchange going for face value, and most of those seats are better
a friend of mine had no problem selling his tickets for a profit this morning on the secondary market

Personally, with all the money the Oneida Nation Casinos are bringing in, they can kick in to buy some of these remaining tickets. There are 3,000 left. If I could afford to buy the tickets, I would.
Have heard from some of my in laws, who have held tickets since the 50s, weren't crazy on the no refund policy.-digital dean

Wow. The Packers, apparently not satisfied with the one month interest free loan they could obtain from season ticket holders who reserved playoff tickets in November, kindly allowed the folks who ponied up the money to apply any remaining balance to next year's season ticket purchase.
Don Walker, JSO:
Story via PFT: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...-left-to-sell/Under the new policy, season-ticket holders were given the opportunity to claim their allotment of playoff tickets up to four tickets. The fans also had to commit to paying in advance for two playoff games, pay for the highest-priced seats and pay a small handling fee.
Had the Packers not made the playoffs, the money would have been applied to next year's season tickets.

Here is the JSO writeup of the new policy before the Packers were in the playoffs. No word on how you get a credit if you do not want to keep all of your tickets.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

I'm a gold package season ticket holder. This policy, combined with the fact that I didn't like the chances of the Packers making a deep playoff run is why I didn't apply for tickets. Any money that does not end up paying for tickets belongs to the customer, not the Packers IMHO. If the customer wants the money back, they should get it back. They tried to cover themselves by saying that is in line with what other teams do. I've considered writing to Murphy about my feelings on the subject, But I suspect they may already be getting the message.Originally posted by pbmax View PostWow.
