There's Percy Harvin for 16 yards.
A rare Harvin sighting on the Play-By-Play sheet.** Since 2006 3 X Pro Pickem' Champion; 4 X Runner-Up and 3 X 3rd place.

the team had to threaten to IR him just to get him to practiceOriginally posted by Striker View PostThere's no way Harvin finishes this game at this rate.
the guy doesn't want to be out there, he got his money, he's the kind of guy who will do everything in his power to not have to play again

Well, Rob Ryan doesn't seem to coordinate run defense better than Capers.
Drew Brees doesn't seem to like to throw in wet weather. Odd, for someone having gone to school at Purdue. He's been terrible with gloves, just go without.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Gotta give Lynch some credit. Guy is a true beast. Saints at least are tackling.Originally posted by pbmax View PostWell, Rob Ryan doesn't seem to coordinate run defense better than Capers. One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

Good game to watch. Some observations...
- Saints need to give up on the passing game. The rain is just too bad, all they're doing it giving away downs by trying to air it out. I think Brees ego is the problem here, he's saying 'I can throw it dammit'
- Chippy, chippy, chippy game. The altercation between Kearse and an NO player (Lewis?) should have resulted in penalties, no idea why the refs ignored it. Not shoving matches, but guys taking shots at each other, seen a few WRs get shoved back to the ground after they get up
- As expected, refs letting DBs mug the WR...except for a call giving the Hawks first on goal after a 3rd down incompletion!!! Lewis didn't deserve that.
- Arm tackling Lynch is a stupid idea
- Don't know why, but I don't like Harvin. I was calling for the Saints DB to pile on in the endzone, he did, and Harvin needed help to get off the field. I cheered, and I really don't do that.
