carolina wasn't allowed to play the game their way since the first whistle. panthers came out fired up and aggresive, and ticky tack call after ticky tack call took the steam right out of them imo

either that was the greatest jump off the edge of all time, or it was an uncalled offsides on san fran. de took 2 steps before the ball was even snapped

Newton is not changing his cadence. He just let Aldon Smith get a jump on the LT by using the same cadence 3 plays in a row. One movement then one signal, hike.

gf called out the offside as well, he was definitely moving well before the snap. Where was he lined up? Did he have his hand in the dirt or was he a couple yards off the line?

either he was lined up a couple yards off the line, or he was offsides because he was in full stride when the ball was snapped

That helmet to helmet call could've been game changing. Going by the rules, I think it was the right call, but how hard is it for a defender to avoid that? He was engaged with a blocker driving to the QB, who turned into him.
