Honestly, the way he played last year, I think he's worth a third, but from what I understand, his contract wasn't big enough for that, so a fourth would be the best we could hope for.

On an unrelated note, Don Hutson has a tryout with the Dolphins on Monday.

I would think his contract is worth a 3rd, assuming playing time thresholds reached.

Rams cut Mevis, signed Grupe who blows out his ACL trying to make a tackle (weird play). Not surprised he was signed, he'll be ok at Sofi but wouldn't trust him outside of 45 yards in December. He played hurt for part of last year, they way that was handled was insane. Based on what I've seen of Smack, I think they made the right call but should have done it before giving him the million dollar bonus.


In other Rams news, Davante Adams tore his hamstring and is out 6-10 weeks. Seems neither he nor Doubs will get chances for revenge games.

That was not possible. At the time they gave McManus the bonus, we hadn't even drafted Smack, yet.

Will Rasheed Walker get paid this time? He is continuing his career as the starting LT for Carolina, on a one-year $4M contract. Several projected his value at $80M/4 yrs. going into the free agent signing period. GB might receive no compensation for his loss. Will Carolina, or will they keep him?

Walker and Enagbare, offset by the signing of St. Juste, are projected to get the Packers maybe a 6th round pick. Enagbare has started 7 of 8 games for the Jets. Walker has played in every game for Carolina. If they both stay in the lineup, Packers should get that pick.
