Paul Kruger - LOL, he got Baltimore a #4 instead of a #3. Why? Because he went to Cleveland, that's why. The only way Cleveland seems to be able to punish Baltimore is by sucking more (though they did beat them - finally - this past season)."Never, never ever support a punk like mraynrand. I think the whole thing of pushing stuff back is silly, actually.
It helps the veterans keep roster spots, since free agency is early relative to the draft, and the draft is so late it's hard for a rookie to know what they are doing in September unless the coach dumbs it down. I liked it when the combine was in Feb and the draft in late March/early April. Right now it's boring IMO and TT is so unpredictable that mock drafts are useless. People get excited about 5th round picks who will play ST and in 3-4 years end up getting signed by CLE or traded to NYJ like Caleb Schlauderaff.

Man, was I ever wrong about my prognostications for the Packers' picks. I guess my "the league hates the Packers" shtick fell flat this time.
And I am very happy to have been wrong!
An extra third and fifth - potential gold, or potential fool's gold. Guess we'll see in about three years."The Devine era is actually worse than you remember if you go back and look at it."

Personally. I liked it when the draft was right after the college season ended, usually mid to late November. Of course, that goes back a few years!!Originally posted by run pMc View PostI think the whole thing of pushing stuff back is silly, actually.
