Yup, turned 60 in January. Some say I don't look my age.Originally posted by woodbuck27 View PostYour just about or have entered your 60's.
The 60's are super years in my experience. Life has never seemed so nice as in retirement. Every day a holiday except for things that must be taken care of:
Precious.

I get that not everyone drinks it, but there has to be large swaths who drink it religiously! Of course I can't say much. My brother showed up at the house with king cans of Keystone Light. Going back to my university days, I refused to buy light beer just on principal, booze is so damn expensive up here, I figured I was cheating myself out of alcohol I'd paid for if I bought the light stuff!Originally posted by pbmax View PostWell, the enjoyment of the commercials isn't tied to the actual taste of the beer. They were entertainment, not testimonials.--

Oh, absolutely. The big, mass-marketed beers still dominate beer sales in the US despite their being a brew pub on every other street corner these days.Originally posted by Guiness View PostI get that not everyone drinks it, but there has to be large swaths who drink it religiously! But the nice thing is that there are a lot more choices. Plus you can always get a Spotted Cow somewhere close.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Since this is kind of a nostalgia thread, here's one for you:

I used to buy cases of this stuff (bottles of course) 20 years ago (when it was produced by the Joseph Huber Brewing Co.). It was both cheap and good. It's strange how some of these old brands just fall by the wayside and get swallowed up by bigger brands. Check out all the brands that Pabst owns: http://pabstbrewingco.com/beers/ I've had a lot of these."Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not his own facts." -Daniel Patrick Moynihan
