I wish I could share some of your enthusiasm, but I saw little tonight to get excited about. Same old piss poor tackling, too much confusion on both sides of the ball, terrible mental mistakes at key parts of game, all signs of a poorly coached team. Just very frustrating to see this year after year.

But they won a SB in 2010.

LOL. Barring any significant injury to Seattle, we will not sniff their jock. Did you see that speed? They dominated every single facet of the game. It wasn't as close as the score reflected IMO.

Agreed. I'd rather lose now and win in Jan than the other way around. But like OBND says, it's the same issues we always see in Fat Mikes teams........

Well....they blew out NO to start last year and did the same this year to us. The ONLY reason it was as close as it was is due to the idiotic fumbled punt.

Bright spots:

HaHa looks like he will be a player eventually. Hard to tell if he was good in coverage, but he was active at least. Around the ball a lot.

Nick Perry isn't hurt yet and looked okay. I missed most of the 4th quarter due to a DVR mishap, though.

Not so bright spots:

We need a serious speed update to the MLBs. I'm all for speed instead of size at this point.

We need some long ends. Mike Daniels is a good, aggressive player but he looked like shit IMO. He is not an end. He is way too short. Situational player.
