Not buying it. Stubby didn't have his team ready to play and he wasn't ready.
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

Well, the Packers continued the trend of shitty primetime games this year. Has their been a decent game on primetime this year? Maybe the NFL and/or NBC will switch to the World Series.
It just seems the Packers come out and play scared with vanilla offense/defense. They had a chance to prove they belonged there tonight.

And Rodgers injured his hammy before throwing a clanger INT.

            • Sean Payton has been publicly criticizing the officiating at their prior game all week long. Payback is a bitch.

              • I think the Packers needed their best DBs to compete.

The PAcker injury situation overall is pretty NFL typical, but above is true.

Dunderdummy and MM had their typical nonsense on display. MM running on 1st down, twice, on 1st and goals; and then throwing to a DE?? And of course Dunderdummy puked up his predictable furball.

I thought we had a decent chance to win this game if the coaching were up to par - but that of course was asking too much.
                  Bad form.

Very little could have been done to avoid this loss. We've all seen this result play out hundreds and hundreds of times.... in all sports. Result would have been the same no matter who they played tonight.

                    • We made Rob Ryan look like a real defensive coordinator tonight.

                      • We have had 2 potential TD drops tonight. One cost us 4 points, the other 7.

Why play then? Why be a fan? Nope. They could have won if they had played smarter.

                              • I thought going for it was a good call. I thought running it was unbelievably stupid.
