While the Lions' fans pretty much expected the team to lose to NE, they are now mightily, mightily steamed about the (lack of) offense. They haven't scored a TD in two games now, and Stafford looks like the same ol', same ol'.

Calvin Johnson had a drop or two again today. That's the big hole in his game. As injured as he's been, I believe I'd take Jordy over him right about now.

Remember, though, that the Lions play the next three at home, against Chicago, Tampa Bay, and Minny. There's a good chance that by this time next week the Leos will be back on top of the division, having won the first head-to-head with the Pack.

Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

I'm surprised that a Defense and O-line as dominant as Dallas' had such problems with a division rival on the road. Good teams don't struggle on the road.

Miami is a top 10 team. Probably won't make the playoffs...

Great game Monday night. Baltimore at New Orleans. 12:06 to go in 1st qtr. Already lots of action.
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

Watching it here too. Ravens kept NO out of the endzone after a 1st and goal. Steve Smith is putting on a clinic.

The Saints just want Steve Smith to retire.

That man is one gritty WR.

I've been paying attention to the Jets @ Bills errrrr..... game. Bills 38 - Jets 3.

Michael Vick was horrid. He was sacked at least 3 times and picked once and generally useless.

Rex Ryan had Geno Smith back in at QB and he was a tad better. The play calling was sad. I'm thinking that Rex Ryan may be gone at seasons end.

Somehow the Saints get out of the first half leading 17-14.
