Love the idea of Lacy running behind this dude. Kuhn has never been overly physical.

Just hope they learned from the Henderson - Leach failure and cut ties with the fan favorite if the new guy is better.

This kid is better than Kuhn...RIGHT NOW. Kuhn is slow, old, and doesn't play with a nasty streak.

Packer fans are going to LOVE this kid. Kuhn will be forgotten very quickly once this kid is on the field laying people flat and showing that a FB actually CAN run to the flat in less than 10 seconds.

Yep...you are correct. That is exactly what we should be saying to Kuhn.

Obviously the Packers are going to continue to use this type of back in the system, given the pick. In light of that, they have the safety net of Kuhn, but I am hoping for the longer term that this kid sticks. He looks like a bigger version of Kuhn, and talks about being a willing blocker. Is this an answer to the goal line woes against Seattle? This guy will clear the way. He looks very impressive, and seems to have a little bit of ability to catch passes and pound it in close to the goal line. Again, they are clearly not getting rid of the lead blocker, so get a newer, shinier one.

We remember, from the years of watching William Henderson.

Let's make sure he can pick up a blitz first.

We needed someone on ST that would only block and not worry about the ball.

I wonder if it's going to get harder to peg the Packers' possible roster, given that more and more of these players seem eligible/able to play different positions. They drafted a wide receiver in the third round, but he apparently can play running back, so if they keep him, which they likely will, is a a running back or a wide receiver?

That is a situation that might make it easier to keep only 2 RB with TyMont as one of six WR.

No way in the world that will happen. Thats like saying Cobb is a RB because he had a few plays out of the backfield. I also hear they want Ty to drop some weight from his 221 pound frame.
