Guion gone for 3 games

If the DL stays healthy, I wouldn't be surprised if they decide to release Guion. Raji is healthy, Pennel and Gaston have played well, and they also have Boyd, Datone Jones and Daniels. I think Ringo will make the team as insurance in case they lose Daniels to free agency. How many D-Linemen does a team that plays nickel most of the time need?

Guion has been playing well as a 3-4 end. He has also shown he can be disruptive, if not dominant, with a pass rush. I think they risk trying to get one of the other guys onto the PS.

I'd say 3 games is way cool. Lombardi would have traded him to the Jets.

I think Boyd could be in jeopardy. He can hold a double team and plug holes in the run game but he has no disruptivity. Pennel may be passing him and Gaston is flashing strong. He has 0 career sacks. Guion may replace his role after suspension.
