Clemmings is very Loadholt-esque. Picked a good year to draft a RT early in the draft!!

I didn't watch and re-watch the game as I've done in the past, but guys that stood out to me in that game were Josh Walker, Mike Pennel, Jayrone Elliott (he may only have outside speed, but he is an impressive athlete), Jake Ryan, Quentin Rollins, and Aaron Ripkowski (on special teams). Alonzo Harris had a TD run, but I thought he looked relatively pedestrian. LaDarius Gunter had an interception, but I thought he could have been burned a lot more if the QB had been given more time and was more accurate. I'm waiting to jump on his bandwagon. Kennard Backman may have hands of brick, but he has impressive athleticism. One no name who surprised me was Jean Fanor. He's a longshot, but he looks the part."There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. But quite frankly, most of the people that are commenting on it don't know anything about what they are talking about."--Ted Thompson

Thank god for that!Originally posted by Pugger View PostI only saw the Bills/Browns game but man are we spoiled! That was some brutal QBing to witness last night on both sides. Tolzien would be a MAJOR upgrade for both of these clubs.
My question is whether it is Tolzien or the Packer's system. How much better would their QBs look in the Packer's system? Classic chicken or the egg question.

It's probably a little bit of both, but the QBs for both the Browns and the Bills are trash, imo. After watching the Bills defense last year, then getting Rex Ryan - I thought, Oh shit - all they need is a good QB and they can make a run. Alas, good QBs are hard to come by.Originally posted by sharpe1027 View PostThank god for that!

I think what we see today in Tolzien is because of the coaching he's received (plus the fact he is a tireless worker).Originally posted by sharpe1027 View PostThank god for that!

Here's a link for the PFF grades for the Pats game.
No surprise both Tolzien and Hundley get love. Same for Gunter and Rollins. But Thornton and Gaston, as well as James Vaughters, graded well.
