I watched the first half and then had to turn away until the last Giants drive.Originally posted by mraynrand View PostI confess I only turned it on with about 5 minutes left.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Something interesting going on in Seattle:
Thomas Rawls: 58 carries, 326 yards, 5.6 YPC.
Marshawn Lynch: 38 carries, 128 yards, 3.4 YPC.
Given the problems Seattle has on the OL, is a younger quicker Rawls better even when Lynch comes back?I can't run no more
With that lawless crowd
While the killers in high places
Say their prayers out loud
But they've summoned, they've summoned up
A thundercloud
They're going to hear from me - Leonard Cohen

Lions' fans apoplectic after yesterday's absolute turd. Heard a great clip from Lions' safety Glover Quinn this morning. He sounds absolutely lost, absolutely confused about what the hell is happening.
Matt Stafford was yanked in the third quarter. The whole season has gone in the shitter for the Leos, and nobody knows what the hell to do about it. Bill Ford Jr. came out over the weekend and said he's no longer really involved with the team; he says his mom - Bill Sr.'s 90-year-old wife Martha - is in charge of the Lions.
Detroit quickly moving past Cleveland and Oakland for the Factory-of-Sadness Award."The Devine era is actually worse than you remember if you go back and look at it."

Is this thing really on? Who is on the other end of this thing? Who is that old lady yapping in my ear?"Never, never ever support a punk like mraynrand. Rather be as I am and feel real sympathy for his sickness." - Woodbuck

Somewhere online, there was an idea for a poll, which personnel transaction had done the most damage to both teams?Originally posted by hoosier View PostHard to figure which is sadder, Detroit or the new Suh.

Interesting. At first blush it's obviously #1 because it involves two teams in death spirals. But #2 just might be associated with the descent of one of the league's dominant teams to mediocrity, which in the end might be more the significant transformation. Now if only Michigan would return to their losing ways we could have a third option to debate. I guess we'll have to wait and see if Seattle can recover some semblance of an offense before this one can be decided.Originally posted by pbmax View PostSomewhere online, there was an idea for a poll, which personnel transaction had done the most damage to both teams?

This is something that has been building for the last couple of seasons but I noticed it more than ever this past weekend in other games. What is up with the stupid ass trend of players having II, III, JR, SR on their jerseys? The Packers don't do this jackassery as CMIII could and doesn't. I hate it. I'm not going to mistake you for your dad, grandpa, or your fucking son. Its so retarded. I blame the Lions and Titus Young for this...

Do you mean the damage done to Detroit by Suh's leaving, or the damage done to Miami by Suh's signing?Originally posted by pbmax View PostSomewhere online, there was an idea for a poll, which personnel transaction had done the most damage to both teams?
