Yeah, and those high draft picks we took are going to pay off considerably long term. It is tough to get what you need when you pick 28th or so every year.

That is why Thompson MUST do a better job finding more pickups like Woodson and Peppers on an annual basis. He has proven he CAN do it...so why doesn't he do it more often?

I agree. I'm not ripping him...he's doing more with what he's got than anyone else on our offense. I just hope we have enough on the roster next year not to need him.
