[QUOTE=Patler;893844]They no longer have to designate a player for return, they can just use it on any eligible IR'd player they decide . My point was that they can use it for them if they need to later in the season if they lose a bunch of WRs or DBs.[/Q UOTE]

So are you saying you can deactivate as many IR'd players as you want?

No, just one player can be brought back, if that's what you are asking.

        Breaking News:

Packers claimed RB Jhurell Pressley, formerly of the Vikings.

Is he fast? What's his speed rating on Madden? I hope he's fast.

A bunch of these guys have skills to fit that bill.

          Unsound!

lol, jk, I think this could be what's up. I do think, however, that when the Pack plays teams with big backs, this approach could cause trouble. That that AP is likely to have another 200 yard game (or two) vs them.

12DBs and 7WRs, heck of a track team.

Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

They dumped Burks to get him on the roster and Burks is not, if Packer Twitter is to be believed, a candidate for the PS.

Per a source with knowledge of the situation, the Packers gave Blake Muir a tryout on Sunday.

The former 49er is an Australian native, who played college football at Baylor. He was signed by the 49ers after going undrafted.
