What a Game! I don't really like it when my favorite team plays my second favorite team, but a win is a win is a win.

Let's keep it going and really run the table. I can't help thinking that 1. It's kinda descending order - Atlanta should be not quite as tough as the Cowboys and New England or Pittsburgh should be another slight step downward, and 2. As good a win as that was, the Packers weren't playing their best. I thought they played better against the Giants and are capable of better games the rest of the way.
What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

      PFT: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...g-in-20-years/

Packers-Cowboys drew a 28.2 overnight rating, which is the highest rating for a divisional playoff game in 20 years.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

^^^I savor a win over the Cowgirls more than a win over even the Vikequeens or Da Bears. Hate dem Cowboys!
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

Viqueens is my # 1 hated team because of years of having to listen two Danish Queen loving bastards on Danish TV - they're gone now - but I only watch American telecasted games ever since NFL GAME PASS.

These teams are close seconds: da Bears, Cowboys, Broncos and f*cking Iggles. Oh, fortywhiners too (post Montana/Young era).

Here is the end of the game film. It was on Packer Twitter and I was about to capture it and post it here directly, but NFL or the Packers seem to move it behind their impenetrable code of the website. If you can get a direct link to just the video, I can post.

Don't know where to put this, so here goes. A lot of us seem to hate Buck and Aikman equally. But I find Buck much more grating than Aikman, maybe because of what he does with his voice when a big play happens. Yesterday at the end, when Cook came up with The Catch, Buck initially thought it was incomplete and then realized that the back judge had overruled the side judge. He paused, and Aikman started to say something about the awareness and body control that Cook had just demonstrated, and Buck had to jump in and cut him off in order to say (in fact, repeat Aikman's) "unbelievable!". That made me realize what a prima donna Buck really is.

Defensive snap counts. Is Martinez odd man out right now?

He was a full participant in practice on Wednesday and Thursday. Don't know if he's hurt, or if he was replaced by Thomas to shore up the pass defense.

                          And then there's this:

Another television senselessly murdered. The latest victim came at the hands of a Cowboys fan, who after the Packers topped Dallas via a game-winning kick, destroyed a giant TV he had been watching the game on. I'd mute the broadcast if it wasn't for the Mrs. lol

Is it just me or does Buck try to jinx the Pack by bringing up obscure, "I could care less" statistics? Like Arod's TD streak w/o an INT just when the Cowboys need a TO to get back in the game. Or like mentioning the record for comebacks by teams down 18 points.

And I don't know where to put this, but I'm not feeling the love this AM. I turn on the NFL Channel and it's a Cowgirls lovefest. "Team of the future." "Dak and Zeke will be even better next year." All the game film focuses on Dallas #88 beating Gunter for a TD. Or Dak celebrating his own heroics. Then I look at the front page and there it is: Cowboys Loss Equals A Slump In Super Bowl Ticket Prices.

Well, excuse us for beating Dallas and ruining your day, pardners. Nevermind that the Pack went into the house of the "best" team in the NFL and beat them with a banged up defense and backups in the secondary.

                              Oh well. Next stop Atlanta!

P.S. As for Arod's throw...I'm a guy who can pass a football maybe 20 yards max on a good day. Arod is on the run and in a split second flicks the ball downfield, what, 30 yards and puts the ball in the perfect spot. And then it comes out that it wasn't even a set play. Arod drew it up on the ground in the huddle like in a school yard.

Not to mention Cook's catch which is every bit as spectacular as Beckham's one-hand grab that gets played ad infinitum.

And now the Cowgirl fans are blaming the refs...

One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics.
