      Was the only highlight.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

      • My brain hurts trying to forget the fact that Cleveland was willing to trade a first-round draft pick for Hundley in the off-season...

TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

Ya, but why not see what he can do in a game? Give him a little experience. Nothing was learned about Hundley.

I thought he should have kicked the first one, in the second quarter. Score was 10-0m and it was obvious there were not going g to be many opportunities.

Agreed you don't run Cally out there last night, but what about next week? MM obviously has better information than I do, but Hundley does not seem to belong. They've held on to Callahan 2 years now must believe he has potential.

Sure, I'm just saying that they did learn more about Hundley last night. Can he throw an accurate deep ball in the cold? How does he react when his receivers continually drop crucial passes? How does he react throwing to a guy who has never played a down in a regular season game? Also, I don't care about 'learning more about him' so much as getting him as many snaps as possible if they need him to back up a game or two next year.

Hundley isn't a long term answer as Rodgers' successor. I never thought that. You can't keep that guy on your roster. When Rodgers is finished, or a year or two before they think he is finished, they'll draft a guy they think can start. Hundley is now a career backup. With more snaps, he will probably get good enough to the point where you really trust him to come in a win a game or two. If that's with GB, Stubby now knows a lot better exactly what kind of offense and plays he has to run and in what weather conditions, etc. Callahan shouldn't see the field next week either. Get Hundley tons of snaps.

If Hundley is not a permanent fixture but just a guy who fills in when ARod is incapacitated, then it stands to reason he should be gone if the team finds a guy who is better than he is at being just a guy. Right now finding another guy doesn't seem that hard to do.

Why ASSUME that Hundley will be the guy next year? Maybe TT will find a more promising guy in the draft? Or on someone else's practice squad? Hell, maybe a vet like one of the McClown's will be available. At least you know what you'll be getting.
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

Sure, that's all fine. The point is that they are giving him as many snaps as possible in case he's the guy and/or to give him a chance to play himself into being the backup guy.

Certainly, his position on the team next year is not guaranteed based on the way he's played, unless Ted is:

I think they're throwing good money after bad, as organizations sometimes do in order to avoid admitting they were wrong. A harsher critic than me might say that TT and Stubby should have had this Hundley thing figured out long before now. And if they felt they had it figured out, well then I'd say they should accept the consequences of being wrong.

I think your screenshot of TT shows that he knows of what I speak. LOL

                              • there's no substitute for actual game experience. Hundley is improving, the problem being that his ceiling is likely too low because of recognition and accuracy issues.
