24 years, 2 SB's, 3 Conference Titles, advanced to the Conference Title Game 7 times missed the playoffs 6 times. You have no idea what you are talking about, the brass has given the Packers a chip chair and a chance 18 years out of 24 to win the SB.

      Baloney! Shaking my head.

There's little in your Post that complies with my observations and Packers and this beginning of Free Agency.

I see the Packers trying now. I agree with you as anyone observing the Packers over the last decade would. The New Packer GM is putting in some effort. TT was over the TOP way too stubborn and Free Agency and Packer Nation was way beyond frustrated with his stance.

What happens between Aaron Rodgers (and his Agent) and Packer BRASS and his next Contract is left to be seen.

In fact ** I'm on RECORD ** that I hope he'll act as Tom Brady has and assume a Contract that is friendly and allowing freedom for the Packers to sign better talent to the Roster. That 'only' makes common sense as he needs real talented players to get to and win another Super Bowl Ring.

** See Thread 'Guess Aaron's Extension'' and Post NO.10 on that thread Please.

Now having a GM that will endeavour to use Free Agency and even make a trade. The Green Bay Packers have a decent chance of averaging one Super Bowl Title ever Decade for the last three.

As Ted Thompson was getting his way that wasn't going to happen.

That article links and talks about the ESPN top 100 FA list (Insider article). There were DT's rated higher than Wilkerson, but apparently no DE's higher.

              Then there's this:

Morgan Burnett is expected to garner interest from the Cleveland Browns and Chicago Bears in free agency.

Alec Ogletree is now a NY Giant !

Wouldn't he have looked good as a Packer? Don't we have a big need in the middle and LBer!?

Can't you as a Packer fan imagine his impact on the Packer Defense? Why didn't the Packer GM get there and at least be in play for Alec Ogletree?

Woody, there's this thing? It's called the "salary cap." What it basically means is that teams are only allowed a set amount of money on their team each year. So, the general manager has to decide how to divvy up that limited amount of salary each year for his team.

Does that make sense? Do you understand now?

Adding and Subtracting is something I understood in Grade TWO I I've taught Mathematics and I possess more that just a little wisdom. I can understand what managing a CAP means. As a GM if I didn't feel very confident in CAPOLOGY I'd have a Man on my staff that certainly does.

Next Season we have to watch a declining CM III again swishing his hair and we might have had Alec Ogletree.

Being a GM means being a managing General manager.

Then why do you ask in every thread in which a free agent is signed why the Packers weren't in the running for that player's services?

Woody's high IQ must be in the 80s. My god man we have to re-sign AR and he is going to take a chunk of cap. We had two first day signings. Hoping we get an Al Harris type value at corner but we can't fucking sign everyone you cheap maple syrup offerer.
