Yo, Waters played like a wanker in the recently concluded meaningless games. Made Mr Hyde look like Chuck Woodson.

I’m baffled that Waters made the team. Wanker is not even a ST demon. Musta be having relations with a decision maker.

Yes, Harlan and I are allowed to use the W-word, as we’re both British-Americans of French ancestry.

I'm rather impressed with how Gute has handled the team in his first year. He seems to have a plan and is not afraid to make the hard decisions. Although TT dd some good things, his time had passed, and that can be seen with the results of the last few drafts. Who knows about the results, but Gute wants to move this team in the right direction.

Some Tedians noted they'd take King and Biegel over Watt. I called Bullshit.

For what it's worth Watt has not torn it up yet but he had a good season last year.

            I'd take him over King
Time will tell on King vs. Watt. Both have looked really good when not injured. The Biegel pick was a bad pick obviously. Still, it's hard to argue with TT trading down and getting a 4th round pick. TT has had some great success in the 4th round. Just didn't work this time.

sounds like the whole nfl is aware that they just want to get rid of him, but no one is willing to offer anything for a guy whos getting paid like an elite #1 but has never produced at that level

whats odd is that the report came out over a week ago, but there was no mention of it on here until yesterday

Guy's probably starting week 1. Unless you'd prefer to roll with 10 on the field on offense.

                    Bakhtiari and Bulaga are ready.

I too was disappointed Ted passed on TJ Watt.

And it isn't like we picked Biegel all that high either. It is unfortunate it didn't work out and this position is still in need of talent. Perhaps Gute will address it next spring.

If the backup can play, then it worked out all around. If he can't, then trash away. I am not convinced Randall is a dud. After his in game snit, he played well.

We'll see. I still think this was McCarthy getting rid of an attitude.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

                            • I wanted Watt, too. But we need to wait a couple seasons to see who was the better pick, Watt or King.

                              I’m not solid either way

Randall probably should have been a safety. That was a terrible draft, the prime of Ted (and probably Mike) thinking they could take any athletic type and have them play a new position. Hubris draft perhaps? Randall played baseball, then hybrid safety-corner in college; Rollins basically played a year of college ball. Hindsight being 20/20 and all, both were akin to projects, and spending that kind of draft capital on projects is risky. (And yes, 2015 was a pretty miserable draft.)

Randall was also not good in the locker, and some wanted him cut after the Bears game. Hard not to see his days being numbered.

There's a pretty good chance Alexander and/or Jackson pan out -- both at least have football backgrounds. Even if Jackson needs a fair amount of seasoning as a man-corner he seems to be taking to it.
