I do think Mathews made a concerted effort to not land on the QB, but it didn't matter. I'd have to watch it again in slo-mo, but I got the impression initial contact was made before he released the ball...I got that impression with Kendricks as well though.

I don't blame the referees. It's the POS off season rules committee tampering with the game way, way too much. The refs are then put in a no-win situation trying to figure out what is "roughing."

As are the fans as they get a washed down version of pure garbage.

If you take away the refereeing, just look at which team dominated or made big plays, I say the game was even. A tie kinda reflects what happened on the field.
